Ducky One Two TKL Keyboard shortcuts

Decided to post a cheat sheet of my Ducky One Two TKL keyboard so I don’t have to keep looking them up online.


Ducky One 2 Mini Keyboard shortcuts for RGB Modes

Fn + Alt + T Switch b/w backlight modes
  • Mode 1: Wave mode (default)
  • Mode 2: Color Cycle mode
  • Mode 3: Rain drop mode
  • Mode 4: Ripple mode
  • Mode 5: Random Reactive mode
  • Mode 6*: Reactive mode
  • Mode 7*: Breathe mode
  • Mode 8*: 100% Full Backlit mode
  • Mode 9*: Radar mode
  • Mode 10*: Backlit OFF
  • Fn + Alt + Z Adjust the brightness of Red (R) colour (10 Levels)
  • Fn + Alt + X Adjust the brightness of Green (G) colour (10 Levels)
  • Fn + Alt + C Adjust the brightness of Blue (B) colour (10 Levels)
  • Fn + Alt + V Erase RGB colour settings
  • Fn + Alt + Space Opens the colour palette to select any colour and make the keys glow in that colour.

The backlit modes with a “*” sign are the only ones whose individual RGB brightness can be controlled.

Ducky One 2 Mini Keyboard shortcuts for RGB LED Zone customization

  • Fn + Alt + G 1st Customized Mode (CM1) Cycle:

  • First press turns on the user’s customized zone and color.

  • Second press enables breath mode.

  • Third press turns the Customized Mode off.

Fn + Alt + B 2nd Customized Mode (CM2) Cycle:

First press turns on the user’s customized zone and color.

Second press enables breath mode.

Third press turns the Customized Mode off. Fn + Alt + Caps Lock Recording:

Press and hold for 3 seconds, select the layer, and press the key combination again to start recording.

  • Caps lock + Z Adjust the Red (R) colour (10 levels)
  • Caps lock + X Adjust the green (G) colour (10 levels)
  • Caps lock + C Adjust the Blue (B) colour (10 levels)
  • Caps lock + V Erase all the LED lights
  • Caps lock + Space Opens the colour palette
  • Caps lock + Left Shift Stops recording

Ducky One 2 Mini Keyboard shortcuts for Ducky Gaming interaction modes

  • Fn + Alt + N 2 Blocks Flashing
  • Fn + Alt + M 4 Blocks Flashing

Note Hold the key combinations for 3 seconds to do the multi-block flashing. Press space to randomly stay on a specific block. Press space again to start the next round.

  • Fn + Alt + J Decreases the Speed
  • Fn + Alt + L Increases the Speed
  • Fn + Alt + , (hold 3 seconds) Play Minesweeper game on keyboard

Ducky One 2 Mini Keyboard shortcuts to set Debounce time

Debounce time is the time interval b/w the two consecutive keystrokes during which, the keyboard doesn’t recognize any other key presses.

To change the debounce time of your Ducky One 2 mini keyboard, you’ll have to press and hold the following key combinations for 3 seconds. The keyboard will flash 3 times, indicating that the new debounce time is in action now.

  • Fn + Alt + Y Set debounce time to 5ms
  • Fn + Alt + U Set debounce time to 10ms
  • Fn + Alt + I Set debounce time to 15ms
  • Fn + Alt + O Set debounce time to 25ms

Ducky One 2 Mini Keyboard shortcuts for Demo mode

To start the demo mode on Ducky One 2 Mini, make sure the keyboard is not connected to any device. Press and hold the following key combination on the keyboard and connect the keyboard to power while keeping the key combination pressed. To enable or disable the Super Key on Ducky One 2 Mini, press and hold the following key combination. The keyboard lights will flash 3 times to indicate that the Super Key has been enabled/disabled.
